Terms of Service

These terms describe the rules for using the current DojoBot Discord development service and public website at dojo.cudws.ovh.

1. The service

DojoBot is a Discord-based community matchmaking service for League of Legends 1v1 custom matches. Participating Discord communities can provide a queue entry point while DojoBot coordinates compatible regional matchmaking and the private match flow between players.

2. Eligibility and third-party accounts

You may use DojoBot only if you are permitted to use Discord and League of Legends under the rules, age requirements, and terms that apply to your accounts and location. Discord, Riot Games, Cloudflare, and other infrastructure providers are separate third parties with their own terms and privacy practices.

3. Fair use of matchmaking

When using DojoBot, you agree not to:

  • Submit knowingly false match results or impersonate another player.
  • Manipulate the queue, statistics, or match history through alternate accounts, automation, collusion, or other abusive behavior.
  • Harass, threaten, or target opponents or community staff.
  • Attempt to bypass moderator controls, interfere with the bot, exploit technical faults, or access data you are not authorized to access.
  • Use DojoBot for gambling, wagering, or unlawful activity.

4. Match results and moderation

Players are expected to report results accurately. Where reports conflict, a match may remain unresolved until corrected or reviewed. Authorized community staff may remove queue entries, close an active match without a result, or set a result where moderation is required. Administrative actions may be recorded in audit logs.

5. Community administration

Each participating Discord server is responsible for its own community rules and moderation. DojoBot limits administrative actions to relevant community contexts where possible, while the service operator may take broader action where necessary to protect the platform, investigate abuse, or maintain service integrity.

6. Dojo statistics and development rating

DojoBot may maintain statistics and history for matches created and reported through its own Discord workflow. These records are Dojo service records and are not presented as official Riot Games match history or rank.

The current private development build contains a community rating used for testing. That rating is outside the proposed Riot-integrated production scope and requires explicit Riot policy clearance before it could be used with a Riot API-enabled public release.

7. Riot Games integration

Riot Sign On and live Riot API features are not active in the current deployment. If approved and introduced later, those features will follow Riot's applicable developer policies and the DojoBot Privacy Policy will be reviewed before activation. DojoBot will not ask users to provide their Riot password directly to the bot.

8. Availability and changes

DojoBot is under active development. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or removed. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, Discord outages, hosting incidents, third-party API changes, or other operational events. Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

9. Enforcement

Access may be restricted or removed where a user abuses the service, disrupts other players, violates these terms, or creates a security or integrity risk. Participating communities may also apply their own moderation rules independently of DojoBot.

10. Intellectual property and affiliation

DojoBot is an independent community project. League of Legends, Riot Games, and related names and properties belong to their respective owners. Nothing on this site should be interpreted as Riot Games sponsorship, approval, or affiliation.

11. Responsibility and limitations

DojoBot coordinates community matchmaking but does not control individual players, Discord communities, Riot Games services, or the outcome of custom matches. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees regarding availability, matchmaking outcomes, player conduct, or preservation of every service record.

12. Privacy

Use of DojoBot is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which explains the service data processed for matchmaking, moderation, statistics, website delivery, and future account linking.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms or the operation of DojoBot can be sent to dojo@cudws.ovh. Privacy and data requests should be sent to privacy@cudws.ovh.

14. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the project develops or as third-party requirements change. The effective date will be updated when a material revision is published.
