Terms of Service

These terms describe the rules for using the current public DojoBot Discord service and public website at dojo.cudws.ovh.

1. The service

DojoBot is a Discord-based community matchmaking service for League of Legends 1v1 custom matches. Discord communities can provide local queue entry points while DojoBot coordinates compatible regional matchmaking and the private match flow between players.

2. Player access and community staff access

Player access to the shared Dojo matchmaking network is open once DojoBot is installed in a Discord community and a usable queue entry point is available. A community does not need Dojo Platform Admin approval before its players can join the queue or play matches.

Community moderation access is separate. Discord administrators can configure DojoBot and request staff approval, but Dojo moderation commands are available to community administrators and the configured moderator role only after a Dojo Platform Admin approves that community's staff access. A rejected or not-yet-approved staff request does not remove player access.

3. Eligibility and third-party accounts

You may use DojoBot only if you are permitted to use Discord and League of Legends under the rules, age requirements, and terms that apply to your accounts and location. Discord, Riot Games, Cloudflare, and other infrastructure providers are separate third parties with their own terms and privacy practices.

4. Fair use of matchmaking

When using DojoBot, you agree not to:

  • Submit knowingly false match results or impersonate another player.
  • Manipulate the queue, statistics, rating, or match history through alternate accounts, automation, collusion, or other abusive behavior.
  • Harass, threaten, or target opponents, community staff, or platform administrators.
  • Attempt to bypass moderation or staff-approval controls, interfere with the bot, exploit technical faults, or access data you are not authorized to access.
  • Use DojoBot for gambling, wagering, or unlawful activity.

5. Match results and moderation

Players are expected to report results accurately. Where reports conflict, a match may remain unresolved until corrected or reviewed. Approved community staff may remove queue entries, close active matches without a result, or set a result where moderation is required, but only within the community scope permitted by DojoBot.

Dojo Platform Admins may perform broader moderation or arbitration across the Dojo network where required for service integrity, abuse handling, or platform operations. Administrative actions may be recorded in audit logs.

6. Community administration and staff approval

Each Discord server remains responsible for its own community rules and moderation. Discord administrators can configure the local Dojo moderator role and log channel, create the player queue panel, and request Dojo staff approval.

A staff-approval request may be approved or rejected by a Dojo Platform Admin. Rejection requires a reason and does not prevent players from using matchmaking. Staff approval may later be revoked or changed where necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, or maintain platform integrity.

7. Dojo Platform Admins

Dojo Platform Admins are service-level administrators configured by the DojoBot operator. They can administer community staff approvals, arbitrate matches across the network, and use platform-only operational tools. Platform-only actions include regional Dojo rating changes through /editelo and community approval administration through /dojoguild and /dojoguilds.

8. Dojo statistics and community rating

DojoBot may maintain statistics, history, and a regional community rating for matches created and reported through its own Discord workflow. These records are Dojo service records and are not presented as official Riot Games match history, Riot Ranked data, hidden MMR, LP, or tier information.

The Dojo 1v1 rating is specific to Dojo-organized custom matches and currently requires explicit Riot policy confirmation before any future Riot API-enabled integration is activated around it. If Riot considers the implementation incompatible with its policies, the rating will be modified or disabled as required.

9. Riot Games integration

Riot Sign On and live Riot API features are not active in the current deployment. If approved and introduced later, those features will follow Riot's applicable developer policies and the DojoBot Privacy Policy will be reviewed before activation. DojoBot will not ask users to provide their Riot password directly to the bot.

10. Availability and changes

DojoBot is under active development. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or removed. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, Discord outages, hosting incidents, third-party API changes, or other operational events. Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

11. Enforcement

Player or staff access may be restricted or removed where a user or community abuses the service, disrupts other players, violates these terms, bypasses access controls, or creates a security or integrity risk. Participating communities may also apply their own moderation rules independently of DojoBot.

12. Intellectual property and affiliation

DojoBot is an independent community project. League of Legends, Riot Games, and related names and properties belong to their respective owners. Nothing on this site should be interpreted as Riot Games sponsorship, approval, or affiliation.

13. Responsibility and limitations

DojoBot coordinates community matchmaking but does not control individual players, Discord communities, Riot Games services, or the outcome of custom matches. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees regarding availability, matchmaking outcomes, player conduct, moderation outcomes, or preservation of every service record.

14. Privacy

Use of DojoBot is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which explains the service data processed for matchmaking, community configuration and staff approval, moderation, statistics, rating, website delivery, and future account linking.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms or the operation of DojoBot can be sent to dojo@cudws.ovh. Privacy and data requests should be sent to privacy@cudws.ovh.

16. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the project develops or as third-party requirements change. The effective date will be updated when a material revision is published.
